I don't understand how/why Hodgson is so loyal to Poulsen and Konchesky, but neither has done a thing to convince me they deserve to be in the first XI. Pulling our "defensive midfielder" off in favor of an attacking player opened up our side and we were the team that looked dangerous the rest of the game. Glad to see Agger looking dangerous near the end of the game, too. He had a great header to Ngog that would've won it, bar a fantastic save, and headed just wide minutes later. This is the first I've really seen a defender attack under Hodgson (other than Johnson, whose attacks are rarely in the box) and it was good to see. Hopefully, Roy took notice of Ngog's and Agger's play because the team was much better with them. Victory vs. Blackpool is a must now.<br /><br />ChrisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
