Going to give you my favourite goals of the season see what you think in no particular order.
1-Torres v West Ham away 19/09/09
Thought this was a great finish being closed down by two defenders Torres managed to skin them with a couple of step overs and then he toe poked his finish beyond Robert Green before he had a chance to move. Brilliant goal.
2-Insua v Arsenal away 28/10/09
What a first goal for his club this was, Babel had just headed the ball down to Insua who chested the ball down from well outside the area before hitting a dipping volley over Fabianski and underneath the bar. Terrific goal.
3- Babel v Lyon away 04/11/09
Babel came on as sub iin this match and made a huge impact with a stunning shot from 25 yards out which should have won the game had we not lost a late goal. Babel at his best.
4-Torres v Man. Utd home 25/10/09
Everything about this goal was class and especially the importance of the strike breaking the deadlock in this tense affair. Benayoun played a great pass through for Torres to run onto, but with Ferdinand puuling and tugging at him Torres showed great speed and strength to shrug him off before firing an unstoppable shot past the helpless Van der Sar. World class finish.
5-5- Torres v Sunderland home 28/03/10
Ifi'm picking my favourite goal this has to be it. Reina kicked a long ball downfield which Torres ran onto down the left wing, looking as if there was no danger with Turner escorting Torres out wide, suddenly Torres ran it his man and cut inside Turner before curling a shot right into the top corner of Gordon's goal giving him no chance. A spectacular effort.
