THE LIVERWORD NEWS

                                                    THE LIVERWORD NEWS 24/01/11

Kenny Dalglish is looking forward to the return of Gerrard.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS - Kenny and every supporter of Liverpool are looking forward to that. After that great win at the weekend its another boost for us.

Transfer Rumours -  The agent of Charlie Adam has confirmed that the player has handed in a transfer request.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS - It looks like he is coming to Anfield now. Adam has been playing well for Blackpool but I am not sure he is what we are looking for. But Kenny must have an idea of what he will bring to the team.

Transfer Rumours -  Reports from Holland suggest that Liverpool's bid to sign Luis Suarez from Ajax has broken down as Liverpool's director of football Damien Comolli has been put off with the £30 million asking price.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  Devastating news from Holland, I was so hoping we could pull this off, he is such a good player and the signing would have made our intentions known that we can still buy top class players.

Transfer Rumours -  Reports suggest Liverpool are way off Wigan's valuation of £15 million for Charles N'Zogbia, offering £7.5 million for him.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  N'Zogbia is a good player and I think he could do a good job down our left. But I would just put all the money into signing Suarez and forget the rest.

Transfer Rumour - Liverpool are targetting Middlesbrough's 18 year old left winger Cameron Park who only made his Championship debut las Saturday.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  Its good to see us looking to the future in trying to bring youngsters in.

Kenny Dalglish has spoken of his delight with the form of Fernando Torres.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  He has just turned into a different player since Kenny came back. Brilliant to see.

Liverpool Reserves match against Blackpool scheduled for Thursday night has been postponed with no re-arranged date scheduled yet. Their next fixture wil be on Tuesday 1st February against Prescot Cables in the Liverpool Senior Cup Quarter Final.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  A pity its cancelled as I'm sure Dalglish is keen on seeing as much Liverpool team action as possible at all levels to see what he's got to work with.
