Jamie Carragher believes Kenny Dalglish has already made an impact on the form of Torres.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - I agree with Carra Torres was a different player the other night at Blackpool chasing every ball and lost cause, Kenny seems to have installed a bit of Ian Rush in him regards to his work ethic.

Steve Clarke admits it was too tempting an offer to work with Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - A shrewd move by Liverpool capturing his services, he has great experience.

Pepe Reina believes victory against Everton will turn around our season.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - If we do win I hope it doesn't end up another false dawn we have had so many this season.

Liverpool Under 18's beat Bolton 3-1 on Saturday afternoon with goals from Adam Morgan, Conor Coady and Toni Silva.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - There are some great young players in this team, which I think will be good enough for the first team in the near future. Silva catches my eye.

Transfer Rumours - Aston Villa's Stephen Warnock is poised to return to Anfield after falling out of favour at Villa Park. Liverpool look favourites to get him.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - I think he would be a really good signing as we are weak at left back. Konchesky not good enough and Aurelio's fitness a worry.

Transfer Rumour - Reports suggest Liverpool are monitoring West Ham's Scott Parker.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - He is the type of player we need in the middle of the park energetic and a ball winner.

Transfer Rumour - Reports in Italy suggest striker target Mirko Vucinic will be allowed to leave Roma at the end of the season for around £20 million.
THELIVERWORD SAYS - Don't know anything about him but we certainly need strikers and with a price tag like that he should be good.

    I agree that Torres looks like he has a new lease of life. I thought he was tremendous against Everton and looking like his old self. It was a pity we couldnt take all 3 pts in the derby but at least it puts a halt to our losing run with a couple of tricky games V Wolves and Stoke coming up.

    There are a few very good lads in the youths and reserves which could make it to the first team. Personally I would love to see Sousa fast tracked as he is exceptional and could very well be a world beater...

    Vucinic is a good player, Not sure if he is worth £20 million though, I would have suggested 12 at the very most, also he is not available till the summer, we need someone now unless we are content to consolidate our prem status regardless of where we finish and start with a fresh slate next year, personally I would like to see a few new faces coming in this month in order to give them beddingin time for next season....Anyway thats my lot, cheers
