Liverpool transfer target Mark Van Bommel has signed for AC Milan today.         
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  He is a bit old and a bit of a hatchet man so no big loss there.

Liverpool are hoping that Luis Suarez hands in a transfer request to force a move away from Ajax.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  I still hope we can get him maybe if he does this just like Charlie Adam has done then we could still get him.                     

The Liverpool owners will have to raise the stakes and show their ambition if they want to sign Charlie Adam and Luis Suarez.    
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  Pay the money for Suarez even if he's a bit overpriced because I think he would be a great signing, But I wouldn't give silly money to Blackpool for Adam, £7 million at most.

Transfer Rumours - Reports suggest Liverpool are tracking Dulwich Hamlets youngsters Quade Taylor and Paul McCallum. Scouts from the club will be watching them play against Romford tonight in the Championship Manager Cup 4th Round tie.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -   I like the way we seem to be looking to the future by bringing in quality youngsters to the club.

Wolfsburg are believed to have tabled a £6 million bid for Liverpool's Milan Jovanovic.
THE  LIVERWORD SAYS -  I would like to see him stay a bit longer as I think Kenny could get more out of him, but if the money helps to bring in Suarez then goodbye Milan.

Martin Skrtel believes Liverpool will soon climb the table as he looks for more clean sheets after Saturday's 3-0 win.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  Maybe we could get more clean sheets if he wasn't playing, good game on Saturday but he's a bombscare most times.


Lucas has been selected for the Brazil squad to face France in Paris on 9th February in a friendly.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  Great to see Lucas selected he deserves that he's played really well this season.

Liverpool Reserve Team Forward David Amoo has joined MK Dons on loan until 23rd February.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  It will give Amoo good experience to go out on loan.

Steve Clarke is hoping the Scottish influence back at the club will bring success back to Liverpool.
THE LIVERWORD SAYS -  Scots have played a big part in this club's success so hopefully it will be good for us.
